Cielo designed and built a complete commercial wellness environment for Evergreen Wellness Center in Brooklyn, New York - three custom saunas and two luxury steam rooms, each conceived as its own space while speaking the same architectural language of cedar, stone, and light.
Each of the three saunas was built in premium fluted clear cedar and sized differently to suit varying guest capacities. Inside, custom stone accent walls meet floating drop ceilings, while integrated LED lighting glows beneath two-tier benches and built-in sound systems carry the room. Harvia Virta heaters provide exceptional performance, and custom laminated tempered glass panels - cut in a forest-inspired perforated pattern - preserve privacy while keeping the space immersive and natural.
The two luxury steam rooms are equipped with MrSteam commercial generators and dedicated ventilation systems, finished throughout in premium glass tile - creating a durable, immersive experience built for daily commercial use.
Premium glass tile carries through the steam rooms and surrounding spa areas, pairing with the cedar and stone of the saunas to create one cohesive material palette. A matte black rain shower and raw stone walls ground the space in texture, while a floating vanity with black steel frame keeps the line between warm and minimal. Nothing is an afterthought.
