Designed to fit beneath an existing deck while maximizing backyard views, this custom modular sauna and cold plunge suite seamlessly integrates wellness into the outdoor living space. A single cohesive structure houses both rituals — the sauna on the right, the cold plunge in a dedicated side bay — built from mahogany and cedar for year-round use.
The sauna interior is finished in premium clear cedar throughout — walls, ceiling, and benches. A large skylight draws natural light deep into the space, while integrated architectural lighting and a Sonos audio system make it as refined after dark as it is at noon. Insulated tempered glass panels enclose the front, letting the warm amber glow spill into the outdoor space and framing the garden beyond.
The dedicated cold plunge bay sits just steps from the sauna — a fully insulated stainless steel vessel wrapped in teak and protected by a custom hard cover. Same structure, same materials, opposite temperature. The contrast therapy circuit is complete the moment you open the door.
